What are Essential Oils?

Essential oils are distilled from plants as subtle volatile liquid, the life-force, the regenerating and oxygenating immune defense properties of plants containing vitamins, minerals, enzymes and hormones. They are distilled from shrubs, flowers, tree roots, bushes and seeds. They have a very unique structure that allows them the ability to penetrate cell membranes and transport oxygen and nutrients inside each cell of the body within approximately 20 minutes of their application and in some cases within seconds.

Unlike synthetic chemicals, essential oils are diverse in their effects and no two oils are alike. With attributes such as anti-microbial/ anti-bacterial properties, immune building enhancement and with fast delivery systems to the cells essential oils become a necessary component to protecting our animals against day to day encounters and insults.

How are Essential Oils Applied?

Essential oils are applied to the palms of the hand and gently massaged through the animal’s coat focusing on the neck and chest area. Certain blends may be sprayed or spritzed directly onto the animal, the animal’s bedding or into the environment.
